Description: We bring some of the nice energy of a Grand Trine into our start the week, but we also have the Moon in Taurus, in and of itself a nice energy, fill in a loose Grand Square that has been forming to a greater or lesser degree. The Grand Trine brings us the ability to look at the bright side of life, but that Grand Square will push hard to change that. Grand Squares bring the energy of feeling boxed in. Grand Squares can have us feeling pulled in many directions, the Fixed Signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, bring a sense of getting stuck, each of them stands in a corner creating the feeling of having no way out. It causes feelings of frustrations and at times hopelessness as we just cannot see our way out of whatever dilemma we find our self in. On a personal level it can be difficult to see our way of any problems or issues we have, on a collective level it can mean we just all feel frustrated and stuck. When I look at a Grand Square it makes me think of a boxing ring, but one where we have four or more fighters and none of them willing to give in.
Both Sunday and Monday we see a Mercury/Jupiter Square, but no matter what the aspect is these two planets like each other. Squares represent blockages, since both planets love to talk it can be a day when they just cannot get a point across, which translates into we have a hard time having others get "other" to see our view of a topic. This will be especially important for the Fixed Signs between 12-14 degrees, Mercury and Jupiter are also an energy that can over promise, or make light of facts so its a time frame when we should all be a little more aware of facts that are being shown or talked about, all may not be as it appears. Its also the day Venus moves into Virgo. Right now we have Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Capricorn so Venus moving into Virgo brings the third Earth Sign in to prominence and bringing a focus on finances and stability.
On Tuesday we see Jupiter go direct, whenever a planet changes direction it shows a shift in energy for what that planet needs. Jupiter is a feel good planet, so when retrograde we not feel very optimistic as it goes direct we can regain our sense of what we can achieve. Jupiter spends about a year in each sign, so the sign is important right now Jupiter is in Scorpio it has been in this sign since last Oct. Scorpio a sign that understands power, control and finances, so we can see some power struggles happening as Jupiter changes directions, I think this is more probable as this weeks New Moon Eclipse is also a time of power struggles and the issues they create.
Wednesday brings a Venus/Uranus Trine. Nice energy for romance. A day when surprising a loved one can be a lot of fun. We want to be with others, its a good day to socialize and enjoy the benefits of love and friendship.
The big event of the week is the New Moon Eclipse on Thursday the 12th at 10:48 PM EDT at 20* of the sign Cancer. This is a very powerful eclipse because it opposes the planet Pluto at 20* of Capricorn. As I mentioned in a prior thought, this brings power struggles to our mid week. Some of these struggles can be extremely powerful. Pluto is a planet of transformation, birth and death, power and power struggles. Pluto can have us feeling that we are at a life or death point in our life. When we pair Pluto with a New Moon Eclipse it takes on added meaning. Cancer is a sign that needs to feel secure, physically, emotionally and financially. Cancers biggest fear is lack, Pluto often forces us to face our fears so we can conquer them, while its happening it doesn't seem like a great idea, but after the fact we realize we have reached a point of release and possibility trust. This energy will affect all of us, but more intensely if we have planets or points between 15-25 of the Cardinal Signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. On the world stage this is also a powerful energy as it can indicate leaders of both the political and religious persuasion making choices the rest of us have no control over. Or we can find leaders in power struggles with each other, we can find ourselves brought to points of tensions that become quite uncomfortable. Any country or leaders of a country that have planets in those Cardinal points I mentioned early can have moments of truth and moments of consequences from choices made. But with all that said New Moon's are about new starts, a time to shape our lives. Its a day to plant your seed of intent.
Eclipses are fascinating and always come in pairs. The next Eclipse will be at the Full Moon, or a Lunar Eclipse. This one will have extra interest as it will be the longest Lunar Eclipse of the 21st century 3 hours and 55 minutes, it will be seen in the US. Eclipses often indicate times of energetic shifts. If you want to read up on the two Eclipse of this month here is a good resource.

We also have Mars closer to Earth that it has been since 2003, Meteor showers and a possible glimpse of Pluto. Here is another good link for all these exciting events

On Friday Venus makes a Trine to Saturn. This is financial a good day to go over your financial life and make the changes that need to be made. If you want a raise this may be the day to ask for it.
We end the week with Mercury moving into an Inconjunct to the planet Pluto which will culminate next week. This can be an energy where we hear something upsetting. So be careful how you say things and do your best to just ignore anything negative being said to you. I tend to feel this will work out more on the world stage when we can hear of something that we are not happy about.
